Migrant Innovation Northern Territory (MINT) Program

NT MINT Program is aiming to assist overseas nationals obtain NT government nomination if they meet the following:
- Show commitment to supporting the NT’s innovation ecosystem, and
- Meet the nomination criteria set by the NT government
This program has a total of no more than 50 visa nominations per program year.
The nominations must be for the relevant state/ territory nominated visas under the General Skills Migration Program or the Business Innovation and Investment Program.
Visa Options
- 190 Skilled Nominated visa (5 years PR)
- 491 Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (5 years TR)

Requirements
- The main applicant should be under 45 years old
- Having competent English (IELTS: at least 6 for each of the 4 component)
- Having sufficient funds of their own for settlement in NT
- Occupation needs to be on the NT occupation list
- Recommended to have 5 years working experience
- At least 65 points in the general skill migration point system
Procedure
- Client migration consultation
- Signing service contract
- Applicant enters into placement agreement with Paspalis and pays placement fee (AUD 33,000)
- Lodging online application to the Migration NT
- Applicant receives provisional approval for visa nomination from Migration NT
- Applicant makes application to invest in PIIF 2 and pays AUD$ 515,000 to PIIF 2 Trustee
- Migration NT and Paspalis will do the AML check within one month, the state nomination will be issued
- Apply for 190/491 visas within 60 days of the nomination
- Visa granted
