Services for Employers

Standard Business Sponsorship (SBS)

A Standard Business Sponsorship (SBS) allows an Australian employer to sponsor skilled overseas workers for temporary or permanent visas, such as the Subclass 482 Skills in Demand (SID) visa, and the Subclass 494 Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (SESR) visa. To become a sponsor, a business must be legally operating in Australia and demonstrate a genuine need for skilled workers that cannot be met locally. Holding an SBS enables businesses to access a global talent pool, fill critical skill shortages, and support long-term workforce planning while maintaining compliance with Australian immigration laws. Once approved, an SBS is valid for five years, during which the employer can nominate multiple workers as needed.

Industry Labour Agreement

An Industry Labour Agreement is a formal arrangement between the Australian Government and a specific industry to help address skill shortages by allowing employers to sponsor overseas workers under tailored visa conditions. These agreements provide concessions on certain visa criteria, such as English language requirements, salary thresholds, and occupation eligibility, making it possible for businesses to fill roles that are difficult to staff locally.

Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA)

A Designated Area Migration Agreement (DAMA) is a formal agreement between the Australian Government and a specific regional area, allowing employers in that region to sponsor skilled and semi-skilled overseas workers for positions that cannot be filled locally. Unlike standard employer-sponsored visa programs, DAMAs offer more flexible requirements, such as concessions on salary thresholds, English language levels, and age limits. This can be a valuable solution for businesses struggling with labour shortages, as it provides access to a wider talent pool while supporting regional economic growth.
